Rolex Submariner Price Guide
MSRP vs pre-owned market value for every current Submariner reference. Updated for 2026.
The Rolex Submariner is the most-traded luxury watch on the secondary market — which makes its pricing both unusually transparent and unusually volatile. This guide breaks down retail MSRP versus real-world transaction prices for every current reference, so you know whether the dealer quote in front of you is a fair number or a stretch.
Submariner Prices by Reference
| Reference | Metal | MSRP | Pre-Owned Range |

124060 No-Date Submariner | Stainless steel | $9,200 | $10,500 – $12,500 |
126610LN Submariner Date (Black) | Stainless steel | $10,250 | $12,500 – $15,500 |
126610LV Starbucks | Stainless steel | $11,050 | $15,500 – $19,000 |
126613LB Bluesy | Two-tone steel + yellow gold | $16,950 | $18,000 – $22,000 |

What Drives Rolex Submariner Value
Production scarcity at retail. Authorized dealer allocation for the 126610LN and 126610LV remains heavily oversubscribed, which keeps grey-market premiums sticky even when broader watch prices soften.
Condition and full set. A 126610LN with box, papers dated within the last 24 months, and unworn plastic typically commands a $1,500 – $3,000 premium over the same reference sold loose.
Cycle timing. The 2021-2022 watch-market peak pushed every steel Submariner reference to roughly 2x MSRP. As of 2026, the market has corrected meaningfully but steel Subs still trade comfortably above retail.
Reference-specific catalysts. The 126610LV (Starbucks) carries an outsized premium because it's the only green-bezel non-anniversary Submariner. The 124060 carries the smallest premium because it's the easiest to source at retail.
A Note on Vintage Submariners
Vintage references — 5513, 5512, 1680, 16800, 168000, 16610, 14060, 14060M — are priced primarily on condition, dial variant, and provenance rather than reference alone. A tropical-dial 5513 can sell for 5-10x a clean-dial example of the same year. If you have a specific vintage Sub in mind, upload a photo to FindWatch and we'll surface comparable recent auction results and dealer listings.
